Handpull cask at the Townhouse, Ely. Mahogany, clear with creamy off-white head. Chocolate malt and dark berries in the aroma. Simple sweet malty taste, and none the worse for it. There’s some earthy hop bitterness in the finish, which leads to some unbalanced sourness in the aftertaste. All in all a very good basic malt bomb.
