Handpull cask at the Haymakers, Cambridge. Honey brown with a hint of red. Cream-coloured head that leaves thick foamy lacing down the glass. Caramel, orange blossom honey, crème brûlée, hot buttered toast, gardenia and a hint of spruce on the tantalising nose. Taste is chewy sweet and first but this is reigned in with bitter fruity hops. Finish is balanced with bitterness just edging it. This is a seriously good bitter.
