Tap. Cloudy yellowish-orange. Aroma and taste: wheat, barley, not very clear, a bit spicy and banana.

On tap at the brewpub, Vilnius. Typical hefe look: Orange/gold, very cloudy. Aroma is much different from what was expected: medicinal, cheese, sourdough. The taste is bitter/sour with none of those usual telltale hefe notes. Incredibly thin palate for what can often be a soup of a beer. Maybe I am rating too much against the style as opposed to the ’purely hedonic’ properties espoused by this site. Unfortunately it falls down on both counts. Not a great beer.
