Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Gravity cask at the 2017 Cambridge Beer Festival. Very dark brown, opaque. A little bit of tan head and lots of natural carbonation bubbling up. Roast malt and Marmite chocolate in the aroma. Taste is a bit too sweet although there is a welcoming bittering hop near the finish, along with a souring note. Thick, flat, oily body. Simple but effective.
