No bells, no whistles. Just a traditional dry stout.

Gravity cask at the 2017 Cambridge Winter Ales Festival. Dark brown with a tiny bit of khaki head. Aroma of soy and cooking chocolate. Beef OXO cubes. Hints of slate and liquorice. Bittersweet chalky taste with just a touch of sour. The finish is a wall of dry, suitably for the style. Thin body with cacao nibs in the aftertaste. A decent stout.
