Tap at Twains, Decatur. Colour is clear dark orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Some fruits, dryness and malts. Very simple.

Tap at the brewery. Light brown, almost iced tea colour if not for the hint of red. Low carbonation. Smells malty, earthy and a bit nutty. The taste it surprisingly hop-driven: wonderfully bitter without losing that all-important balance. Tannins in the finish. A very English ESB but two steps ahead of the normal stronger bitters you get in the UK.
