After having a lot of our customers asking for an easy drinking Irish red we have added Fluthered to our Antsey Ale Core beers a 4.5% caramel and oatmeal Irish red with Challenger hops. A fruity start gives way to a satisfying smooth bitterness.

Hand pull cask at Broood @ VinQuatre, Leicester. Brownish red with a full off-white head. Malt heavy aroma with some cherry, caramel and chocolate. Taste is a bit of a let-down, as the heaviness of the malt is countered by unbalanced bitter/sourness. Slight vegetal note in the finish. Medium oily body lifted by some natural carbonation. Not exciting.
