Gravity cask from the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Golden brown, clear as a bell, with a thin layer of white head. Resinous aroma, with some lychee and TCP, and I get the light botanicals of the gin. Smells nice, but a bit harsh. Evens out in the taste, where the sweetness overcomes the astringency. Pretty malty for an IPA but it certainly grows on me. A touch of bitterness in the finish where there's the lightest gin burn going down. Apricot and resin in the aftertaste. Really well-made.
