To commemorate PC 83 John William 'Tubby' Stephens we have brewed ‘Tubby’. A dark ale with a rounded character. You’ll find inviting layers of blackberry and vanilla with a soft mouth feel.

Handpull cask at the Old Horse, Leicester. Copper, clear with a small layer of off-white head. Chocolate malt, berry notes and a vinous touch in the aroma. Bittersweet taste with lots of blackberry and soft cream, with a medicinal bitter note in the dry finish. Light body without being too thin. It's okay. I was hoping for more character.
