Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5
Cask at the West End, Leicester. Golden, clear with little head but a fair bit of lacing. Yeasty aroma... despite the description this smells more like a Belgian blonde. Taste is similar as well, a bit of sourness and chalky bitterness do balance the sweetness of the yeast. Not sure what to make of this. An odd beer and, for me, a bit of a mis-step from a top outfit.
