Tasting at Ryan's, can
Black colour, almost no head. Intense aroma of chocolate, and vanilla. This is less thick and sweet than expected, which enhances the chocolate and cacao profile, the burnt sugar; vanilla; fairly strong alcohol. Good.

16oz (thx, Chris S.!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: dark brown with beige head. Aroma: lots of chocolate (a bit artificial probably, but still good), moderately sweet, a bit earthy. Taste: along the same lines, dark chocolate, kinda thin for 11.9%. Overall: good.

Pours quite dark, but no head. On the aroma, it's got chocolate, light caramel, with a touch of vanilla. On the palate, it's fairly thick, not much carbonation. Some chocolate, also bitterness that kind of clashes with the sugariness. I'd say this needs a bit of something...it's rich but not rich enough, and has some flavours but maybe not complex enough. It's certainly not bad, but it feels like this leaves something on the table.

Poured from 473mL can. Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Chocolate, feint saltiness, crackery pretzel character, mild caramel underly (mostly on the nose, but slightly into the taste as well). Novelty, but okay.
