Bottle bought from Hasegawa. Dark brown colour with small golden head. Aroma is vanilla, cream, roasty malt, bit of chocolate, sweetness. Everything you would expect really. Taste is nice, lots of vanilla and cream again, touch of cherry, some dryness at the end. Quite slight in the mouth for a stout, but I won't hold it against it. Maybe makes it more drinkable. Sweet vanilla and chocolate finish. Not overly sweet, and pretty damn good.

330ml bottle from a Tokyo station bottle shop. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, lactose. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, light roasty, light charcoal, sweet lactose vanilla palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Nice and the vanilla was awesome, but perhaps just a little too sweet.

Really good! Not too sweet, not too much vanilla.
I'd drink anything from these guys. Even bottled water.

Great Japan Beer Fest 2014, Yokohama. Nice rich brown sugar color with a small tan head. Huge vanilla bean ice cream aroma with undertones of chocolate milk. Creamy, rich mouthfeel with a slight oily finish. The sweetness can be overbearing at times. Dessert beer for sure.
