Nice looking Amber orange with light orange-beige fizzy foam that didn’t linger. It has a nice malty caramel and biscuit aroma. Medium bodied with a semi-dry finish. The taste has toffee and tobacco leaf notes with a caramel biscuit malt base and slight herbal hops.
Enjoyable drop.

Chestnut color. Apricots, cherries and touch of earthiness in the nose. Medium full body, nice malt backbone, fairly aggressively bitter. Nice balance. Smooth. Definitely a new world take, but enjoyable.
Lovely stuff. Nice fruitiness. Not so much maltiness. Second one. This is really great.

Bottle, mail order from the brewery. Malty nose, caramel, bread, spicy hops, toast, nuts. Very rich. Medium brown color with a medium, thick white head. Rich malt, medium sweet, toasty, nutty, bready, spicy. Very complex. Full, silky body. Spicy, bitter finish. This is really well done. A great malt showcase with lovely hops as well. Moving into strong ale territory.
