Tap at KBL Garage. Pitch black with a tan head. Big coffee nose, some chocolate, vegetal notes. Soft and silky body, sour, green, vegetal coffee is not really for me, and it really rules this beer.

When you don’t drink coffee but need a caffeine boost, thank god for coffee stouts! Two Rabbits Coffee Stout 5.5% Inky black with a tan head and a sweet milk coffee aroma with mild roasting. Fairly full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel and somewhat rounded carbonation. Roast coffee with hints of sweetness - if there’s any lactose in this it’s quite minimal, nope none so that’s pretty impressive. Not that complex but it’s very well done and reminds me of the Wawa coffee stout, not as nice as Bacon & Eggs which to me is the gold standard for the style but this would be a great 6-pack fridge filler day drinking brew.
