The fifth beer made with our brew buddies, Mikkeller. A big and ballsy, tasty Barley wine following the same path as the previous “Goops” made available. This time with corn taking over the throne.

Bottle 22fl.oz. [ As Three Floyds / Mikkeller Majsgoop ].Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, nutty - grass, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass - nutty, dusty, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dried fruit, hoppy, dusty grass, sweet malt, sweet fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150130]

Bottle. Orange/apple, caramel malt, orange peel and alcohol aroma. Cloudy orange-brown with moderate head. Sweet, lightly spicy orange juice, caramel malt, and mildly bitter herbal/hay flavor. Nice body and balance. Excellent.

22oz bottle shared by Patrick. Glowing orange-brown body. Steady, lacy white head. A pretty phenomenal Barleywine. The corn adds some creamy notes, adding to the unfiltered, yeasty body. Really nails its. Excellent balance. Completely drinkable, I want more. Awesome.
