Our Longfin Lager has become one of the go-to beers with the team at the brewery. A solidly balanced Helles inspired Lager with a clean, slightly hoppy finish that could easily fit in at any German beer garden. We think it’s perfect for enjoying on the beach, the boat or anywhere else you can put an ice chest full of beer.

12oz can pours with a hazy gold body that has copper hues and supports a thin bright white head of foam. The aroma offers up grainy malts, some floral hops and then other various grainy notes and breadiness mixed with a lagery yeasty sense. The taste begins with a nice grainy maltiness and then flows into some malt sweetness and faint pear flavored cotton candy mixed with floral hop flavor and almost no hop bitterness. To midway a pleasing bready to grain note moves forward and sends back some of the sweetness to create some balance. It ends with a nice lingering bready sort of graininess and then mild floral hops. I like.

GABF 2013. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a lasting white head. A bit grassy, somewhat husky, lemon, light cracker aroma. Crisp, somewhat dry, toasted malty, light lemon flavor. Pretty easy drinking, basic brew.

Bottle at GBBF 2013 and drunk at home. Clear pale gold lasting white head. No doubt cardboard on aroma. Some ok lemon in mouth but more cardboard on the finish. Yes more lemony and hoppy than most pale lagers but still the cardboard is not great.

Bottle @ BBF13. Pours clear pale golden with small white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops. Yeasty and malty flavour with notes of hops. Bittersweet finish. Not bad but a little weird.

Draught. Wonderful looking lager with a thick white head and yellow body. Full floral aroma, like a fresh garden. Flavour is very light, a floral hoppiness with a little malt. Watery finish. Beer begins better than it ends.

Bottle from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours pale gold with a cream/fizzy white head. Aroma of dusty malt - hop? Med minus body. Pale malt flavor. Something demi-sour for hop? Comes over more like a wheat ale than a lager. It is malty. But a Dortmunder?
