Hazy peach and copper coloured body with a rich orange glow and a thick, two centimetre dense white head - straight from nitrogen. Aroma of mild oats, some light hops, wort and plentiful amounts of yeast. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and oatie maltiness with a bunch of body and some lighter subdued citrus notes all with a hint of light hops and very little else - perhaps died down from the nitrogen. Aftertaste is nice but relatively simple with not much complexity outside the earthiness and light sugars. Overall, a decent pale, but a good riff using the oats, but not such great execution with the nitrogen which doesn’t seem needed at all. I sampled this pint on draught at the brewpub in Portland, Oregon earlier today on 13-April-2013 for US$5 for 50 cL.

On Tap at the Bend BP Slightly hazy golden orange with a dense nitro induced head. Very light soft malt aromas and flavors, lightly bittered, and a little citrusy hops. Creamy nitro palate but a bit weak and watery.

On Tap at the BrewPub. Clear light orange with a thin quick white head. Faint clean malt and bright hop aroma. Pale ale type stuff. Flavor is PA but cat tell what the oatmeal is suposed to do. Decent A bit thin and the abv comes through a bit much.

On nitro at brewpub: Golden/orange pour with a thick white head and very thick lacing. Nose is floral and citrus hops with a sweet presence. Tastes of maltiness, florals, citrus, and a hint of orange. Very smooth underlying malt tones.
