On tap at Amundsen, Oslo. Pours black with light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, smoked ham, some smoke, caramel. Tastes sweet with little bitterness. Medium bodied.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Very dark brown. Cherries, licorice and coffee up front. Mid dry with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and light ashy the smoke, blackberries and notes of dark chocolate. Mid bitter finish.

Bottle at home. Has a deep brown to black color with a huge, soapy, light brown head. Very carbonated. Smoked meat in the aroma along with oak, burned wood, coffee, rye bread and roasted malt. Lots of smoke in a pretty sweet flavor as well along with forest floor, meat, barbecue sauce, wild berries, camp fire and earth. Has a silky and soft mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. Well smoked beer but is quite complex for the style with lots of other stuff going on in addition.

Bottled (from Vinmonopolet, Kirkenes). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is ashes, roasted malts and some earthynotes. Flavour is wooden, fruity, some roasted notes as well as some toasted notes. Ashy aftertaste.

Bottled 500ml. Deep ruby color, thick brownish head. Smokey, tobacco aroma. Medium-bodied. Smokey, ashy flavor. A bit on malt side.

From tap at Nydalen bryggeri og spiseri 02.03.15. Black. Foamy beige head and lacing. Aroma of peat, dark chocolate and coffee. Taste of chocolate, peat, bitter coffee and dark malts. Bitter, dark chocolate in aftertaste.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Amundsen Røykporter ].[ Trade by The Norway Crew ]. ABV: 6.4%. Clear dark black - red brown color with a large - huge, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt, smoke. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, smoked, roasted, sweet malt, tart notes, chocolate notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141227]

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty and breadish. Roasted, amoked and dark malty. Breadish and lingering dark smoked. Breadish and roasted finish.
