2005: Hazy reddish-amber colour. Hazy Scotch nose. Seriously, just like scotch. Lots of alcohol and a bit of peat. Mass whiskey flavour like a bottle of scotch was dumped into a cask of Scottish Ale. As a beer, this is pretty poorly constructed but I like the taste of it so I can’t give it low scores. It works, even though I’m not sure it deserves to.
2004: Golden-brown colour. Aroma of peat, maple, herbal hints, caramel. Oily body. Lots of malty sweetness, hint of grassy hop. Smooth, sugary sweet finish. Ar 5 Ap 3 F 5 P 2 O 12 = 2.7
