Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a hazy reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of roasted malt and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel, roasted malt and hops. The finish is sweet with a short caramel malt aftertaste. Average overall.

From tap at the brewpub as Red Ale, 5.7%. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, hoppy and light toasted malty. Roasted, light fruity and crisp hoppy. Bitter and dry malty finish.

On tap at Rock Bottom Seattle location. Pours out a amber topped with a sand head. Aroma of light malts and some floral hops. Taste was more of the malt along with some light nuts.

On tap at Rock Bottom, Seattle. Reddish copper, thin beige head. Sugar candy, bit of whisky, sweet malt character. Basically thin and bad, dry malt finish.

Tap at Festival 04. They must have improved it since the others rated it. Nothing wonderful, but an easy drinking session beer
