Waxed bomber pours deep copper with gold edges, slight haze and a thin tan head. The aroma has resiny sap notes, spicy oak then a slight rubbery sensation and then more spicy oak at the end of the draw. The taste is fairly similar with resiny bitter pine sap moving into thick sludgy malt covered spicy oak and the sliding into more malt sweetness. Wow, I like it but I’m getting very little barrel going on here other that the firm degree of spicy oak. Cool brew.
