Great American Beer Festival, 2012. Opaque yellow color, appropriate for a saison. It sweet with yeast, as well as coriander and yeast. Good palate, and the lemongrass nicely compliments the other flavors.

Poured up at GABF 2012 with a crystal clear gold with a thin white head. The aroma has a nice level of saison like yeasty spiciness backed up by some sugary malt sweetness followed by just a light sense of earthy notes. The taste seems similar with sweet sugary malts mixing with spicy saison yeastiness with a light degree of lemon grass notes that add an earthy tone to the experience. To help balance out the sweetness I get a black pepper note from time to time. Pretty tasty stuff.

Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazy yellow color with a medium foamy white head and stringy lacing. Aroma of wheat and spices. Medium body with flavors of bready malt, lemon and coriander. The finish is fruity with a wheat aftertaste. Decent overall.
