Sample at Cigar City. Clear dark orange pour with a thin white head that diminishes steadily. Short stringy lacing. Aroma of malt and bananas. Medium body with flavors of toasted malt, banana and citrus. The finish is fruity with a bready malt aftertaste. Decent all around.

Poured up on tap at the Dunedin Brewery with copper body and off white head. The aroma offers up biscuit, sweet malts, prune like sweet hard candy, musty raisins and just a touch of black pepper. The taste has prunes and raisin notes running quickly into biscuit to roasted maltiness. Around the edges of those flavor is a touch of pepperiness. Nice brew that is not too sweet as several from this style tend to be. I could easily drink this all day as it is darn sessionable too with its balanced flavor. Nice interpretation of the style.

on tap-pours gold with an offwhite head. Aroma is herbal/spice, some light/medium malt. Taste is herbal hop bitter, 2nd light/medium malt.
