Poured up on tap at SunUp, damn they pour their ales way way too cold. Within the icy realm of the beer I see a perfectly clear amber body supporting a nice tan looking head of foam. The aroma offers up a good bit of hops in the form of pine like notes as well as spicy hops draping over some malts, some roasted malts, some biscuit malts and a light amount of dark fruity esters. The taste begins in a similar fashion with mostly pine hops and a lesser amount of spicy hops mixing together with both hop flavor and hop bitterness. To midway some malt notes are noticed giving the beer some body and smoothness as mild amounts of malts, roasted malts and a blending of something like biscuit malts and cherry like sweet dark fruity esters takes this into the finish. Drinkin’ pretty good just wish they would not serve this so damn cold.
