Not quite up to par. Pours yellow with slight haze. Medium lacing. Some malt in aroma, light hops. Taste has light sourness, some crisp ending. Not exactly good for style. Tap at brewpub.

Poured up on tap at Kuhnhenn with clear copper body and nice white head. The aroma has roasted malts, some biscuit malts and hints of dark fruity esters. The taste is smooth with roasted malt mixing with sweet malts and running into a mild level of sweet fruity esters and caramel. This is a nice tasting smooth brew which offers up pleasing malts and biscuit malts.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear amber-orange color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet malt and caramel. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, grain and a touch of fruit. The finish is short and malty. Pretty average overall.

On tap at the 2011 Winter Solstice. Pours a clear amber with an orange hue and an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of bread and grain with a hint of backing toffee. Flavor is simple with a bit of bread and grain with not much else. A bit thin.
