12oz from the sampler box pours slightly murky copper in body with off white head. The aroma is nice and pretty bold with rich tangelo and grapefruit and some pine like hoppy bitterness just churning around and around. The taste is full yummy spicy hops mixing with various citrus hop notes as well as resiny pine like hop bitterness too heading midway and into the finish. Darn nice IPA with plenty of yumminess to go around. One of the better IPAs I’ve had in a while.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy dark orange with about a finger of thick white head. Aroma of pine, citrus and a little caramel. Taste is light bitter. Pine, orange pulp and grapefruit. Medium bodied with a creamy texture. Soft carbonation and a long finish. Overall, I’m liking this beer. I would love to try the other test batches though.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with a quickly collapsing beige head that falls into a ring of big ugly bubble-chocked foam; leaves a little lace. Aroma is bready, earthy, faint citrus. Taste is bittersweet with a lingering bitter finish. Carbonation is pretty high for the style, body is medium. Not bad, but it’s very average.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Hazy amber color with a big off-white head. Nice hoppy aroma with citrus, flowers and a bit of piney notes and some caramelly, somewhat cookie-ish malt. Flavor starts sweetish, pretty malty, with caramel and biscuits notes and continues with lingering fruity and floral hops bitterness. Medium-bodied with a mellow mouthfeel. A nice IPA.
