Bottle from my local Co-op. One of two new ticks for me available. Aroma is grainy with a sour citrus edge and underlying malty sweetness. Clear copper gold. Thin creamy white head soon recedes. Sour citrus, light. Dry grainy bitterness. Cardboard and boiled veg. For it doesn't mix well. All a bit meh. Light-medium bodied. Slick if thin. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Golden Ale that does little for me. Not very keen on the flavour.

From recently unearthed notes, drank December 2018. Can from a supermarket somewhere near Wadhurst. Amber/gold pour with a white head. Citrus and light malt nose. Citrusy taste, quite hoppy. Very sessionable.

Clear and golden with a fluffy white head and a slightly floral biscuit malt aroma. Light bodied, floral and malty sweetness is temepred a little with some mellow bitterness. Inoffensive easy drinker in all honesty

Piwo nawet dobre z konkretna stylowa goryczka brytyjska, slodowosc typowa i charakterystyczna dla wiekszosci piw Shepherd Neame. Leciutenki, karmel, pieczona skorka od chleba, rownomierny balans miedzy slodycza, a gorycza. Jasna klarowna barwa bursztynowa.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours a clear golden colour with a medium sized throthy white head. Aroma is slightly metallic with notes of citrus lemon. Taste has more citrus lemon, bread and caramel. Nice earthy hop bitterness on the finish but also a bit metallic. Thin to medium body with a fairly smooth mouthfeel. Not bad but like a lot of Shepherd Neame beers i would prefer if they were not in clear bottles.
