Poured up on tap at tipsy where it exhibits an all too hazy grapefruit colored body that supports a near white head of foam. The appearance is so un Kölsch like. Wild. The aroma offers up clementine, grapefruit, grapefruit peel and then a touch of breadiness. The taste basically follows suit with pleasant tangy clementine and tangelo like citrus hoppiness edged with some grapefruit hop bitterness. Toward the finish a nice hit of malt breadiness is sometimes noticed. I think my fresh palate picked this up before the hops dull things a bit. This could be a little crisper and actually be crystal clear rather than hazy. I did enjoy how this doesn't offer up any sweet estery fruitiness like almost all American brewed Kölsch.

Clean and crisp, with a moderate grainy sweetness laced with lemon, white bread, and apple. Finishes on a subtle bitter note with yeast and grain in the finish. Nice beer.
