Grumsete i siste helling med lys beige topp som daler sakte. Aroma; kaffe, malt, lakrisrot, muggent brød, Smak; Larkris, kaffe, ristet malt, sitrus. Veldig godt balansert (vanskelig å skille smaker), myk i munnfølelse. Kunne vært noe lenger ettersmak. Best før 11.16.

500 ml bottle, as Amundsen Blackbird Black IPA, from Vinmonopolet Verksgt., Stavanger. Brew #N261. ABV is 7.0%. Black colour, large tan head. The aroma is a pleasant blend of fruity and roasty notes, hints of blackcurrants and chocolate, also exotic woodwork. Roasty notes with hints of coffee and chocolate, also hoppy notes of resin and grapefruit. Bitter aftertaste.

Bottle at home. Pours a deep red brown to black color with a huge, light brown, compact head. Fruity and roasted aroma with tones of pine, flowers, peaches, chocolate, dried fruits, burned wood and nuts. The flavor is pretty roasted with more ash and roasted bred. The fruity hops are in the background as well with pine, grapefruit and grass and accelerates in the aftertaste. Has a silky mouth feel, medium body and a balanced bitterness. A well made BIPA where both the hops and roasted malt er equally represented. Well-balanced all the way.

On tap at lhallen, pours black with a large brown head. Nose brings out lots of earthy hops, balanced by lightly roasted malt and chalk. Flavour is earthy and chalky, with lots of earthy hops, powdery dry cocoa, chalk and lightly roasted bready malt. Decently balanced and nice to sip in small amounts, but nothing overly great. Not bad.

Black with a brown head - Nice hop aroma - Some hints of raosted malt body with a good hop profile that is bitter, and then some dryness from hops and roasted malt - The finish has hop bitterness that goes into a long and dry finish - This was nice
