This Double Black IPA Was Aged In Bourbon Barrels Containing American AND French Oak Staves. Hopped Exclusively With Centennial The Aroma Is Very Floral With Oak Undertones And A Slight Spice. Both Staves Blend Together To Create A Harmonious Char And Wood Flavor On The Palate. Nice Balance Of Bitterness And Barrel. LFG.

Boozy as hell. Bourbon dominates, with a good bit of char, vanilla, and cocoa underneath. Pine, roast, and oak on the finish. Would be hard-pressed to call this a Black IPA at a blind tasting, but it’s still damn good.
