Bottled. A golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of chili, malt, straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, chili, and malt, leading to a dry chili finish. Too much chili for me.

650ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with huge, foamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, peppery spicy red chili aroma, a more vegetable touch of green chilis as well, a touch of banana and diacetyl in the background. Taste is peppery spicy, notes of chili, augmenting spiciness, a fruity touch of peach in the background. Definitely (and somehow uselessly) overspiced (concerning beer); would be more interesting to balance some spicy food with a fresh and fruity beer than putting everything together into the beer already.

Bottle @ First Official Randers Tasting. Pours nearly clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of chili with notes of hops and yeast. Mild flavour of yeast, giving way to a harmony of vegetables and chili notes growing stronger. Grainy and dusty aftertaste. Quite good for a chili beer.

Tap at the West Coast Brewfest. Lots of chili in the aroma. Med minus body. The chili flavor is a mix. There’s some chili burn, but it is not at all obnoxious. A very drinkable example of the style.
