Bottle from the brewery marked as batch 001 with 7.5%abv Bottle says its a blend of Irish stout and aged stock ale. Huge pop from the cork, hard to pour without getting a glass full of foam. Light chocolate and woody notes with just a hint of sherry, light roast, and tart cherry. Possibly a hint of lactic in there. The flavor is light roast and chocolate with some obvious oxidation going on. Lightly fruity earthy tones and a somewhat ashy mouthfeel. Ok brew.
