Bottle 750ml. corked. [ As Gourmetbryggeriet Sort Ale Belgisk Øl ].Light unclear medium to dark brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, caramelized malt - brown sugar, light to moderate yeasty, candy. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, candy, yeasty, sweet malt, sugary, raisin. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141220]

Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a hazy, dark brown body under a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma is sugary and caramel-ish, with dried fruits and a touch of something piney. It’s effervescent and sugary on the palate, with dark sugar and some roasted hints. Full body, too much carbonation, and some alcohol warmth. Lasting finish with dried fruits, caramel and dark sugar. Drinkable, but lacking big time on complexity, making it rather uninteresting. 141220
