Bottle. Pours clear copper brown with stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with metallic notes and touches of fruit. Sweetish, bready flavour with fruity and malty notes and touches of yeast and roast. Malty and roasty aftertaste with estery and fruity touches. Not unreasonable but rather sweet.

Bottle, 8.0%. Metallic aroma, some cardboard. Clear very dark brown colour. Some reddish, chestnut tones. Semi-stable tan head. The flavour is quite sweet, almost sugary with some bready and burnt notes. Mild alcohol warmth in the finish.

Mild bæraktig bitterhed i afslutningen. For sølle kr. 25 er dette et godt køb hvis man kan lige den sødlige belgiske stilen.

Svart med høyt beige skum som ligger godt. Lukter søt lakris, tørket frukt, melkesjokolade og anis. Middels fylde. Noe salt lakris, kakao og tørket mørk frukt. Kort.

Clear brown, small offwhite head. Standard pseudo belgian aroma, yeast, dried fruit and dark sugar. Sweet flavour, dark malt, brown sugar and light spice with ok warming alcohol. Some licorice notes make it interesting. Finishes quite caramely and boozy, but far from as bad as expexted.

Bottle split at the RBESG ’15 Grand Tasting, Taphouse CPH day 4, 23/08/15. Rich chestnut brown with beige edgeing. Nose is pretty basic, papery, dark malts, brown bread, fart arse. Taste comprises sweet licks, brown sugar, biscuit, dark fruit rinds, candy bar. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Yawn ... generic Belgo pap, 8% ABV and offers little.

75cl bottle at home while figthing off a 51% attack on burstcoin. Happy days. clear dark brwon, bubbly brown head. Aroma of dark dried fruits and licorice, not bad at all, harboe. Flavor is bitter, dark dried fruits, burnt caramel, some malts, it do taste like they cut a few corners to make a cheap production, but the beer is drinkable, and i guess especially if you don’t fancy the yeastiness of real belgian quad then this might go down well. For me, it’s a bit too much artificial and boozy.
