On a flight at the source on 2nd April 2025. Bright amber/copper body, off-white crown. Fairly sweet and herbal with a caramel front, some hop action calms it down and I really enjoyed my pour and would most likely have had a pint of it, but I was on a mission and had to leave for more 'ticks' elsewhere!

$12.99 frikin’ bomber pours with a clear mahogany colored body that supports a weak short lived light mocha head. The aroma offers up caramel, some malty molasses, muted dry spices and then some raisin and fig like fruity esters notes. The taste comes across kind of thin and it ushers in cola soda notes, some caramel, a dash of spicy black licorice and then muted spices. To midway it picks up mild brown sugar dusted raisin and fig like fruity esters. Decent enough beer but the value sucks. Why is this so damn expensive?

Bottle, 22oz. 2013 vintage. An almost clear one, dark amber to brown in color and with a minimal sized light beige head. The aroma has a faint spiced touch, with raisins and some roasted notes. Medium to full body and a soft carbonation. Too dryish on the palate I think. Dried figs, some caramel and spices in the flavor. Some alcohol warmth. Lasting finish with a metallic touch. Quite decent this one, but unbalanced and not superbly well crafted. 141219
