White Sand Imperial India Pale Ale is the light colored twin of Black Sand Imperial India Pale Ale. Use of malts much lighter in roast allows the profound addition of summit, cascade, amarillo and other rare finishing hops to be clearly accentuated. This is a crisp and floral IPA.

Sample at TK Pizza & Pasta. The beer pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes gradually to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of piney hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sampled from bottle shared by BDomue. Hazy orange color, average sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, loads of hops, lightly a hint of old hops but the sticky piney resinous hops dominate. Taste malts, hops, loads of resinous and piney, hop bitter and bitter finish. Medium to full body, medoum carbonation. Nice!

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey-copper-ish amber colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Malty aroma, caramel, a touch of almond, resinous and citrusy hoppy overtones, hints of lemon, lemon zest, grapefruit, a fresh breeze of mint, even a touch of cedar. Taste is dry, citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, a touch of grapefruit and mint, lime peel, discreet pale malty background. Relatively light body, hence very drinkable.

Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, good minerally carbonation. Airy malt, light sweetness, trace of cream. Hops start pretty skunky but tempered by pine and tropical fruits. Zingy orange, lemon and lime. Airy finish with a bitterish tropical fruit linger. Delicious and drinkable.
