Bottle from Tavour Dark brown with garnet at the edges and a good sized tan head that persists. Chocolate caramel and earth mixed with grape jam and vinous notes. The earthy pine bitterness lingers in the finish and clashes a bit with the other stuff going on here. Tasty in small quantities.

Pours a nice near black with a foamy khaki head from a bottle. Lightly grape-y aroma also mixes in some leather and tobacco. Similar flavor, but leans more toward a hint of dark chocolate. Good beer.

On tap at the 2015 HAF. Pours a brown reddish color with a large white head. A big sweet vinous nose. The flavor is light roast, chocolate, bigger fruity wine. Very woody. Solid.
