50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. toasted malty. Bitter and dry malty. Toasted malty and slight caramelish.

Bottle. It pours an almost clear body, dark amberish brown in color and with a small, dense, light beige head on top. The aroma is rather spiced, with cloves and some ginger, overpowering the roasted malts and caramel. Semi-sweet and feeling sort of dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting roasted, spiced flavor with caramel and a touch of chocolate. A decent one, but the spicyness feels a bit unbalanced. 141220

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and Christmas spices. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 201214

Bottle 500ml @ home
Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and some thing that reminds me of sour berrries. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long spiced, bitter, caramel and slightly tart finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Rødbrun lett tåkete med fingerhøyt beige skum. Rips, solbær og noe melkesjokoladelukt. Kompleks, både søt, syrlig og sur smak. Lett salt i avslutningen. Medium kullsyre.

Bottle at home. Has a hazy nut brown colour with an ivory head. Spicy aroma with cinnamon, cloves, toasted malt, leather and licorice. Lots of spices in the flavour as well along with maple syrup, heather, wood and leather. Has a slick mouth feel and well-balanced bitterness. A nice and spicy ale but you need to love cloves. Superb Christmas beer.

0.5l bottle from N086. Assuming that's the same as #86. Anyhow, this is a kinda cloudy looking brown bronze colored one with a small scattered and sidesticking off-white head. Smells quite nice. It's soft spicy on the nose. There's also some stranger almost sour caramel and nutmeg hints. Much the same going on in the taste really. Hard to identify the specific spices here really as they feel really integrated with the malt sweetness. Again that sourness comes lurking towards the finish. Nice and oily in the mouth and about average on the carbonation. Did not mind at all. 15.11.2014

Appearance: Clear nutty brown color with a tan head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Nutty, malty and fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a mild bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Bubblegum, marshmallows, fruity and some Christmas spices.
Overall impression: One of this is enough. Maybee to much sweet stuff. Apart for that an ok ale.

Fra fat på bryggeripuben nov-13: mørk mahognyfarge helt uten skum (inkompetent bartender?). Smaker brent sukker med litt krydder. Servert for kald. Stappfullt, tydelig at dette er blitt et trendsted. Har de ikke tid til å lage ordentlig øk?

Dark brown with an off white head - Good spicy aroma - Good malt body to support the spice flavours - the spice goes in a long finish - Nice good beer that has a Nice spicyness to it and it is easy drinking
