Bottle from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - pours hazy brown with a off-white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste, brown sugar, caramel, dark dried fruits, yeasty spice, medium body, sweet malty finish.

330 ml bottle, batch #64, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 11,0%, IBU 36. Reddish brown colour,low off-white head. Raw and alcoholic aroma, notes of solvent and wet cardboard. Very sweet, raw and alcoholic flavour, notes of caramel, unrefined but still drinkable if no other quad is available. But as other quads ARE available, I would never spend good money on this one.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark amber with close to no head. Low carbonation. Very sweet and syrupy aroma, a little yeast. Very rich body, again almost syrupy. Some spice accents from the yeast, brown sugar, a little yeast and a warming alcohol finish. 200115

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, caramelized malt, light alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sugary, syrup, caramelized malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20141220]
