Very dark golden with a medium sized fluffy head that lingered and left good lacing. Tangy and sweet with fruity hops and a bit of hot pepper at the end. Medium finish and body. Quite pleasant.

16 oz can from Tavour. Aroma is peppers, caramel, gun metal. Pours hazy amber with a one + finger beige head with great retention. Taste is sweet and spicy. Not really an IPA at all, unless they're considering it an English IPA. Tastes like a caramelly amber ale with lots of hot pepper heat (8/10 on a pepper heat scale). Nicely carbonated creamy mouthfeel, but it's a tad watery. Way more hot than the description up there describes, although it's not up there with Cave Creek or Stone's Crime or Punishment. Tasty shit for pepper beer fans.

First I thought this was going to be a take-off of their porter but its not. Its actually a lighter colored beer. Not as much heat as I was expecting for something labeled habenaro but there is some detectable heat in there. It gets hotter as the session continues. Overall, evenly spiced and easy to get along with. I liked this. Noce job Dan.
