Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy dark brown head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet, toasty, a bit woody and had a bit of cream. The flavor was sweet and tart with strawberry, toasty malts and cream. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.

Tap at IPH 2 weeks ago. Big & black. First taste is pretty good! Has a slight tart backbone on a strong sizzling palate. Yes, very nice. Much better than expected, was thinking like cloying, but this is not! Quite good. That tart thang really adds to the overall beer tasting experience. THANKS PB! Most beers that say cream in their name are not.....this is, and its not even on the name! Should be named Creamy Sgt Romance, no lie.
