Rating found in old notebook 2014. Pour is darker than your typical ubiquitous pale yellow lager, more brownish. No head, just a froth on top. Aroma is slightly sweet. Flavor has a slight tinge of bitterness. Interestingly industrial background qualities in there. Finish is non offensive, quite friendly and lagerlike. This beer can easily be enjoyed, it lacks any hints of that tough Iron City. Overall OK, but the taste leaves something to be desired after the looks of this beer were so darkish.

In bottles at GABF 2012. Pours a clear light amber color with a medium white head. A nice nose of caramel and dusty malts. A pretty simple dry flavor with caramel and biscuit. OK.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel color with a large foamy orange white head that lingers and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweetish with touches of butterscotch, nut and sulfur. The flavor was tangy and somewhat bitter with faint caramel and a touch of fruit. Medium length bitter and tangy finish. Light body. Eh.
