Bottle from the brewery, as Hida Craft Beer Kolsch. Nose is buttery, biscuit malt, honey, lemon. Bright, clear golden. Effervescent. Flavor is sweet biscuity malts with quite a bit of diacetyl. Hops are there, though, prickly and spicy, and it finishes with a crisp bitterness. Slightly lemony too. If they could lose the diacetyl, I think it would be quite good. Still drinkable.

At a tasting, as "Korikori Sarubobo Beer"’ thamks, small bubbly head, hazy lemon yellow color, candy yeasty aroma with some waffle, yeasty bready flavor with a hint of fruitiness, medium bitterness, light sourness. Fair and drinklable.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks mom for this bottle! As Korikori Sarubobo Beer. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of grains, a bit of citric hops, a vegetal note, and light fruitiness. Flavor has graininess, light sweetness, yeast, some fruitiness, and decent bitterish citric hops. Quite light-bodied. Easy-drinking.
