Cream, dense head over deep ruby-brown beer. Seriously sweet, caramel, toffee notes dominating. Roasted for a short time, then caramelly/toffee, syrupy sweetness, if seriously watered-down. Leftover walnuts. Light body, if slick. Flavours fast vanishing. Bof. If craft is booming in Brazil, this is not what ignited it, I’m sure;

Bottle 600ml. @ pre. The Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2014, TSODRBSG14. [ As Bier Hoff Nigra ].Clear dark brown color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, light butterscotch. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, butter notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140829]

Bottle. A clear, reddish dark brown beer with a dense, beige head. The aroma is quite toasted and nutty, with some caramel and prunes. Roasted and caramel-ish flavor with some nuts and a touch of dark chocolate. Medium to full body, semi-dry and with a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting roasted finish with a pleasant caramel touch. Quite nice this one, although lacking a little bit on complexity. 140829
