0.5l bottle from berlin. pours a clear dark chestnut with a small white head and some lacing. weak aroma of roasted malts, rye bread, caramel, grass. flavour of nuts, coke, ash, roast, grassy and metallic hops. thin body, short finish. not very interesting.

0.4 litres, on-tap from a boat shaped bar inside International Green Week: Berlin. 22nd Jan 2016 saw me drinking and eating around the world, this being my fourth beer of the day out of fifteen. Clear dark brown pour into a tall glass, good lacing from an off-white head that hung around. Aroma was malted bread like, baked. The taste was like a semi-sweet dark malt bread with a light hop filling for some bitterness. Liked it even if it could have done with a richer/deeper body feel.

Bottle from RSB, Lüneburg. Almost black with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and light hoppy. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and roasted light bitter finish. 150815

Erstaunlich nichtssagender Antrunk, kaum röstig, allerdings noch weniger herb und somit extrem langweilig. Unnützes Farbbier. 8/5/6/5/9/6

Vielen Dank an Erzengel! Klare dunkel orangebraune Farbe, geringe beige Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Getreide, erdig. Geschmack leicht röstmalzig, metallisch hopfig, Karamell.

Malzig-frischer, leicht säuerlicher Antrunk. Frisch, malzig. Schöne trockene Röstmalz-Lakritz-Note, nicht zu tief, schön herbe Züge. Malzig-trockener, angenehm herber aber nicht zu langer Nachgeschmack. Nett.

Bottle 500ml. @ Assentoft tasting by Hansen - Zita. [ As Lübzer Schwarzbier ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, dark malt, light roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, bread, cola notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141122]

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Toffee notes. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Lacks roast. Some caramel. Oily palate.
