500ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing, darkest brown colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Slightly sugary, dark malty aroma, a touch of malt lozenge. Taste is slightly grainy, dark malty with a sugary touch, cautious hints of malt lozenge; dry, slightly astringent finish.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, black, nice head. Starts mild, malty, not too roasty. Mild earthy notes, modest sweet. Finish a bit drier, still mild. Could be more intense. Okay.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with a thin, off-white head. Bready aroma with fruits, lightly roasted malts, caramel and faint nuts. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture. Finishes dry and fruity with light roast and bread. Okay Schwarzbier.
