Foggy Goggles Hazy IPA

Hazy orange body with thin white head. Citrus aroma. Restrained melon and orange taste with lasting finish.

Deeply hazy golden and peach coloured body with a raw honey glow and a very thin off-white head that fades very quickly. Aroma of very grassy and herbal hops with a lightly floral bite and some softer sugars coming through, but no real bitterness or alcohol in the nose at all. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal hop notes dominate here with a light sweetness from resin and caster sugar with a touch of orange, apricots and white grapes noticeable, without any real alcohol notes and only a hint of bitterness from the alpha acids. Overall, a fairly nice IPA that doesn't show much New England stature, aside from the slight unfiltered aspect, and despite a touch of orange and fruit elements, this is a pretty standard newer school PNW IPA that was decent to try, but not worth going out to try to find to be representative of the style. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Bend, Oregon on 29-March-2021 for US$2,75, sampled while with my kids at the Yuerba Buena Kids Playground in San Francisco, California on 02-April-2021.
