(Tap) clear, bright orange amber color with a small brown head; aroma of compote, molasses; creamy palate; balanced flavor with a long, light bitter finish

12 oz. can from HEB in San Antonio, TX. Pours a very dark brown color with a beige head and good retention. Spotty lacing. Yes, it smells just like a chocolate cookie. The flavor adds more stout characteristics to go with the chocolate cookie notes. Some dark roast, with a little treacle and alcohol in the finish. Sweet, but not decadent. Medium, slick body. Low carbonation. Some dark chocolate bitterness. I'm looking forward to mixing it with their Cream.
