Bottle. Hop Hideout. Clear, burnished copper. Thin, off white, lasting head. Huge orange, piny, dirty, grapefruit aroma. Taste is fairly bitter, with some spicy dryness. Chewy palate. A bit greasy. A bit slick. Boozy and heady. Finishes long bitter. Spicy end. Very full on. Very tasty. Loppy beer, this.

Bottle poured to pint glass. Brown/gold color. Rye blends nicely with the malts on the palate.

Poured from a bottle it is a cloudy golden and has a head. The aroma is celery. And the taste is strong bitter and tastes hoppy with not much of a taste

Bottle. A- Dark fruits, spices, slightly sweet. A- Amber color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Dark fruits, cherries, rye, spice, bitter. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, spicy bitter finish. O- This beer was surprising in that I did not expect all the dark fruits to be involved. The cherry notes on the finish were exceptionally pleasing. The rye was there but not overpowering and naturally it was full of hops but not overdone either. Well balanced and complex.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop, Bermondsey. It pours clear deep mahogany with a thick light tan head. The nose is bitter-sweet, spicy rye bread, juicy resin, pine, toffee, citrus peel and fruit cake. The taste is bitter, piney, spicy, resin, pine, boozy bite, crystal malt, toffee, grapefruit peel, peppery notes with a lingering bitter-boozy finish. Medium+ body, moderate carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Pretty punchy. Errs towards the sweet side also. I’m not 100% sold on the balance. Alright.

bottle - Pours clear amber-orange with a small off-white head. It smells of citrus, resin, and some alcohol. The flavor is of very bitter, crisp hops with a solid malt backbone and a long, bitter finish. It’s full bodied and overall a very good IIPA.
