Brewed with special Nelson Sauvin Hops from New Zealand. This variety provides a wine like fruitiness that pairs beautifully with the esters of the Belgian yeast. The finish is dry with some peppery spice. A great alternative to white wine.

Bottle, Beer Moth, Manchester. Hazy golden pour with a decent white head. Citrus, goosebery and grassy, pissy hop in the beak. Some initial tartness in the flavour which had notes of tropical fruits, hay, pine and a little spice leading to a dry bitter finish. Really well poised. A lovely vibrant and fresh Saison. Best yet from this crew.

Bottle. It pours a hazy golden body topped with a dense, finger-thick white head. The aroma has tropical fruits, citrus peel and a good dash of black pepper and saison yeast. Black pepper, saison yeast, pink grapefruit and tropical fruits. Full body with a pleasant carbonation, quite dry. Lasting bitter finish with lots of nice flavors. Not very complex this one, still it is. And itโs damn fine too. 140717

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail
Bottled 03/01/14 - Pours clear yellowish golden with a smooth white head. Aroma of yeast, tartish tropical fruits, hints of wheaty notes and spices. Taste is wheaty, yeasty and tropical fruity with some tartish and spicy notes. Finish is smooth, hoppy and yeasty with some hints of wheat and tart fruits. Okay, a bit untypical saison mixed with a hoppy wheat ale.

Bottle at the "Colin and the Vikings tasting, Goteborg". Poured a cloudy straw colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma is citrus yeast. The flavour is veggie with a light citrus earthy mineral palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.
